Thank you for your interest in our groups. Our groups operate within a multidisciplinary expert team, which can make them especially effective, as participants may receive additional support beyond the group therapy process whenever necessary. In this model, the group therapist works closely with other professionals, including psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, clinical psychologists, special education professionals, teachers and social workers. This collaboration ensures that clients’ complex difficulties are addressed from multiple perspectives and that treatment covers not only psychological, but also biological and social aspects.

How the Group Operates

The group process continues throughout the academic year, operates as a closed group and relies on regular weekly attendance to achieve its therapeutic effect.

1. Core Principles of the Group The group process continues throughout the entire academic year, and groups operate as closed groups once they have begun. Regular weekly attendance is essential to the therapeutic process, which develops through connection, shared experiences and feedback. In the event of an absence, for example due to illness, please notify the group leaders in advance by email. The participation fee remains payable in the event of late arrival or occasional absence to ensure the continued operation of the group. In the event of an extended absence lasting two or more consecutive sessions, the participant’s place may be retained following consultation with the group leaders and payment of a reduced basic fee.

Parental Cooperation

Parental cooperation includes ensuring regular attendance, paying the applicable fees, attending consultations and notifying the group leader of absences in advance.

2. Parental Cooperation Parents agree to:
  • ensure their child’s regular attendance and punctual arrival,
  • pay the participation fees on a regular basis,
  • attend parent consultations connected to the group process,
  • complete any additional assessments that may be recommended,
  • notify the group leader of absences in advance by email.

Registration takes place through an online form. Joining the group requires submitting the necessary documents and attending a parent consultation.

Additional Practical Information

Practical guidance, contact details and summary information about the groups and the Summer Intensive Therapy Weeks.

Additional Practical Information Arriving 5 minutes before the group session is sufficient. We ask parents and accompanying adults to be present in the waiting area 5 minutes before the group session ends. Group Size: a maximum of 8 participants. This small group size is maintained throughout the academic year. Contact and Applications Summer Intensive Therapy Weeks During the summer, we work through intensive therapy weeks rather than weekly sessions. Registration for the summer intensive groups opens in the spring. The aim of the MURMO Summer Intensive Therapy Weeks is to provide children with experience-based therapy and developmental support during the summer. Within our groups, appropriate therapeutic frameworks and art therapy methods that support emotional expression—including music, drama and visual art—help children express the difficulties and emotions that concern them, while developing greater self-understanding and self-acceptance. Our group leaders have extensive experience in group therapy processes and summer intensive therapy programs. We consider it especially important that anxious children who may find it difficult to participate in traditional summer programs due to their mental health or neurodevelopmental differences receive appropriate encouragement and gain positive, restorative social experiences through group therapy while strengthening their social skills and self-confidence. Our professionals are committed to answering every question and helping you find the most appropriate form of therapy. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about a group or form of care. Please feel free to apply or contact us for further information. We look forward to hearing from you.
