PECSÉTVARÁZS
Ages 11-14
A four-day creative camp for those who enjoy drawing, making art, and trying new techniques.
Date: 22–25 June 2026 · 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Half-day programme: Monday to Thursday, 12 therapy hours
Led by:
Erika Pap – Clinical Psychologist
Erzsébet Komáromi – Visual Artist and Art Therapist
Petra Kovács – Complex Art Therapist and Music Therapist
This year, we welcome children for a four-day programme who enjoy drawing and creating and are eager to explore new techniques. It is a rare opportunity for adventurous young artists to discover and learn unique graphic art techniques.
The programme will include journeys into the world of imagination, magic pens, stamp making, printmaking, monotype, paper printing, drypoint, linocut, a gallery visit, and a museum education programme. At the end of the week, the children’s own work will be displayed in an exhibition, to which parents and grandparents are warmly invited.
We keep the group small enough to ensure that every child receives individual attention. During the time not devoted to creative activities, we design developmental games and tasks tailored to each child’s abilities and interests.
Through art therapy, we also place emphasis on supporting children’s emotional development and impulse regulation, while gaining a deeper understanding of each child.
The group fee includes the use of specialist printmaking equipment. Children may take home their own prints and original artworks.

Minimum group size: 8 participants

KONNEKT A
ASD, Ages 14–17
A group for adolescents in mainstream education, supporting peer relationships, communication, and growing independence.
KONNEKT A ASD, Ages 14–17
Date: 22–25 June 2026 · 2:00–5:00 p.m.
Half-day programme: Monday to Thursday, 12 therapy hours
Led by:
Erika Pap – Clinical Psychologist
Petra Kovács – Complex Art Therapist and Music Therapist
Focus areas: Difficulties forming peer relationships, challenges with social integration and communication, developing independence from parents, and supporting greater autonomy. The group is intended for adolescents attending mainstream secondary schools.
The group aims to support peer relationships, address social integration and communication difficulties, encourage greater independence from parents, and provide an opportunity to recharge within a peer community during the long summer break.
In the group, we primarily use a comprehensive art therapy approach, supplemented—depending on the themes that arise—with social stories and behavioural therapy techniques.
No prior knowledge or artistic experience is required to take part in the art therapy activities. We use artistic tools to support creativity, facilitate emotional expression, and encourage communication.
Within the group’s safe, accepting, and supportive environment, participants can share the difficulties and concerns that are important to them. Through artistic activities, we create opportunities for self-expression, self-discovery, and experimentation.
Our primary aim is to relieve tension, reduce inhibitions and anxiety, and help participants discover and draw on new coping strategies.
Young people who have not previously attended MURMO will meet with us for an initial consultation before joining the group. During this meeting, we can discuss their needs and difficulties in detail.
The age of 14 is intended as a guideline. As adolescence begins, the issues and concerns affecting young people change, and some mature earlier or later than others.
When considering admission to the group, alongside the young person’s motivation and interest, our primary concern is whether the group can provide an appropriate therapeutic environment for your child. We will also discuss this during the introductory meeting.

LÉLEKPALETTA
Ages 8-10
A playful, story-based journey of inner discovery designed to support self-awareness, sensory processing, and self-care.
LÉLEKPALETTA · 8–10 évesek
Date: 22–26 June 2026 · 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Half-day programme: Monday to Friday, 20 therapy hours
Led by:
Judit Jantner – Clinical Psychologist
Annamária Jánó – Special Education Professional, DSZIT and IGYP Practitioner, and Children’s Drama Practitioner
Our camp invites children to embark on an “inner journey of discovery.” Our aim is to support neurodivergent children in understanding how they function within an accepting and playful environment, while also helping them discover just how different we can all be.
We want children to discover, through engaging and story-based experiences, that there are many different ways to feel comfortable in our own skin, and that different things may inspire enthusiasm in us or lead us to withdraw.
As we learn about ourselves and the world, we have a basic need to organise experiences into categories—including the ways we understand ourselves. These categories can help us navigate the increasingly complex map of ourselves and the world, but at times they can also hold us back.
As we search for categories, we may overlook the value, strengths, and “unique voices” that arise from individual differences.
The aim of the Lélekpaletta camp is to help children begin drawing and exploring their own inner map: recognising what they need and what helps them feel calm, balanced, and at ease.
Our key themes include energy levels, preferred and avoided sensory input, and the visual, auditory, tactile, and vestibular experiences that bring joy and a sense of calm. We believe that understanding these needs can make self-advocacy easier and help children take a step towards greater self-care.
We invite children on an adventure where, through playful experiences, we explore and become more aware of what commonly discussed tactile hyperreactivity can mean, why some children need to be constantly on the move, while others may feel unwell simply from watching such movement.
We also help children recognise that none of these ways of functioning is inherently “good” or “bad”, and explore the value of making space for different needs and ways of being.
Our aim is for children to understand that different ways of functioning may bring strengths in some areas and challenges in others.
Our motto: “Well-being is not about minimising problems, but about recognising strengths.”
We envision all of this within a playful, creative framework suited to the children’s age, creating opportunities for connection, curiosity, and a sense of wonder.
Our Tools: storytelling, creative activities, drama, sensory play, and age-appropriate psychoeducation.

HULLÁMLOVAS A
Ages 14-17
A comprehensive art therapy group for adolescents experiencing the emotional ups and downs of adolescence, anxiety, or relationship difficulties.
HULLÁMLOVAS A Ages 14-17
Date: 6–9 July 2026 · 2:00–5:00 p.m.
Half-day programme: Monday to Thursday, 12 therapy hours
Led by:
Petra Kovács – Complex Art Therapist and Music Therapist
Noémi Tóth – Clinical Psychologist
In our week-long summer group, we aim to reach and support adolescents through comprehensive art therapy methods when the emotional turbulence of adolescence has led to intense anxiety, mood swings, withdrawal from social relationships, or changes in sleeping and eating habits.
We welcome secondary school students aged 14–17 who would like to understand themselves better through exploring their difficulties and are curious about why they sometimes feel uncertain, unmotivated, anxious, or low.
The art therapy group may help adolescents who frequently find themselves in conflict with others or often experience stress and tension in everyday situations.
We use visual art and music to explore what it feels like to be up one moment and down the next. As we ride the waves of emotion, what—or whom—can we hold on to?
In a storm, which wave lifts you up, and which one overwhelms you and pulls you into the depths? Which wave can carry you safely to shore, and which one draws you down into the sea with its swirling foam and debris? Do you fight against the current, or let the water carry you?
The group provides an accepting and supportive peer environment where the experiences gained through creative work help adolescents grow and develop a clearer understanding of the relationship between their inner world and the world around them.
The intensive summer programmes also serve as a selection process for the socialisation groups running during the following school year. Participation is subject to a prior parent consultation and a written recommendation.
If needed, diagnostic assessment can also be arranged at MURMO for children attending the group.
