We prepared for Murmo’s opening as if we were introducing a long-awaited child.

We invited everyone who has played an important role in our lives to rejoice and celebrate: those we have learned from, those we have worked with, those who love and know us, and who understand the value that this child, Murmo, brings to the world.

Many people came and celebrated with us. Hugs followed hugs, and tears of joy flowed.

With performances that penetrated the soul, stirred the emotions, and moved the heart, the Homo Ludens Project revealed the oceanic depths of the human psyche, and we also glimpsed all that these walls would yet witness. Painfully beautiful, unique, uplifting, and hilarious experiences awaited the guests, no matter which door they walked through.

Then we gathered in the largest room, stood in a circle, we were finally truly together, and could listen to Erika, who told us how Murmo was born, why there was such a great need for it, and how every fairy godmother would do her very best to ensure this child is truly valuable and serves the good of others. Erika was natural and kind, happy and moved. These were intimate and heartfelt moments.

Psychiatrist András Stark delivered his opening remarks with kind words, encouragement, and love; we laughed and were moved, it was a wonderful feeling that he was rejoicing with us.

András Bölcsföldi, the Reformed pastor, asked for God’s blessing on those present; the silence that followed his prayer was uplifting.

The members of Makám, Klára Korzenszky and Zoltán Krulik, carried the audience away on the wings of music; we sang the Song of the Sun together with them and asked that waves of blessings wash over us, so that the whole world might find a place in our hearts.

Then we celebrated with fine drinks, heavenly treats made with love, delightful conversations, and hearty laughter.

This is how we introduced Murmo to the world.

And then, right there, the whole world fit into our hearts.
