Kata Nagy

I am a clinical and mental health child and adolescent psychologist. I gained professional experience in pedagogical services, a children’s home, and non-governmental organisations.

I believe that a safe and accepting relationship creates space for development and authentic presence. In my work I aim to provide this for every child and family who turns to me. Such an atmosphere can deepen self-awareness, support freer and more balanced functioning, and make inner resources easier to mobilise.

In therapeutic work with children and young people, I consider collaboration with parents essential. In my experience, shared reflection and support for parents are important conditions for change.

I adapt methods to individual needs. Within a dynamic framework I use non-verbal tools, cognitive and behavioural techniques, and relaxation methods.

At MURMO I participate in basic and complex diagnostic assessments.

I provide individual therapy from a mentalization-based, relationship-focused, and neuroaffirmative perspective. I also co-lead an art-therapy group within the Lotilko Programme.
