Fruzsina Marsalkó
I am an art educator and, following several years at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, I qualified as a visual art therapist.
In my work, the circumstances of creating are as important as the artwork itself. Alongside non-verbal signals and gestures of connection, I attend to each person’s role in the group and to group dynamics. I use playfulness and humour to bring these processes into focus or soften them when needed. Both TFP- and MBT-informed approaches therefore have an important place in my work.
At MURMO I lead parent and adolescent art-therapy groups connected to the Lotilko Programme and the Hullámlovas art-therapy intake group.
From 2015 to 2022 I was an active volunteer at Átkelő Gallery, organising, running, and opening exhibitions and contributing to the gallery’s financial operation.
