Dr. Orsolya Schmidt
Consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist, medical degree from Semmelweis University Faculty of Medicine, Budapest. She began her clinical career as a resident at the child and adolescent psychiatry department of Vadaskert Hospital, where she has continued to work since qualifying as a consultant. Since 2022 she has been the consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist at Murmo.
Her clinical work centres on ongoing child psychiatric care: long-term follow-up, the indication and monitoring of pharmacological treatment, and close collaboration with the family and the therapeutic team. She is currently training in family therapy. This combination of psychiatric and systemic thinking shapes her approach: she reads the symptom within the child's developmental and family context.
