Eszter Füller
I am a licensed Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist and a Family and Couple Therapist in training. I completed my studies at the University of Pécs, graduating first as a primary school teacher specializing in visual education in 2008. Following my Bachelor's degree in Psychology (Behavior Analyst), I earned my Master's degree in Psychology with a specialization in Developmental and Clinical Child Psychology in 2015. Driven by a commitment to systemic healing, I completed the family and couple therapy training under the Hungarian Family Therapy Association in 2017, and further deepened my clinical expertise through the Clinical Psychology specialization program at the University of Pécs between 2020 and 2024.
My therapeutic and diagnostic work is firmly grounded in psychodynamic principles, the mentalization-based approach, and systemic theory. For me, the core of my profession is a steadfast, supportive presence alongside children and families—especially during critical and high-burden life situations when the path to healing or moving forward appears far from simple or clear. I approach my work with deep empathy, an ongoing desire for professional knowledge, and a heightened sensitivity to crises. I believe that even during the most complex blockages, interpersonal tensions, or developmental difficulties, a safe and containing therapeutic space provides the key to change. A child and their family do not exist as isolated units; unpacking their difficulties requires a profound understanding of the family system's inner dynamics, integrated with developmental and clinical perspectives.
At Murmo, where I have been working since September 2024, we firmly believe in the power of multidisciplinary teamwork. Within this integrated professional space, I am available to clients in the following areas:
Complex Psychodiagnostics: Detailed status assessments for children and adolescents, uncovering developmental blockages as well as emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Individual Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy: Processing emotional and anger management difficulties, internal conflicts, and crisis situations, with a particular emphasis on integrating mentalization-based and cognitive-behavioral therapeutic elements.
Couple and Family Therapy: Resolving and relieving systemic family blockages, parenting challenges, attachment issues, and relational crises.
Social responsibility and supporting the most vulnerable children are deeply rooted in my professional background. For years, I worked within the residential homes and the Emergency Shelter of the Baranya County Child Protection Center, supporting traumatized youth in acute crisis, as well as in the Szigetvár Regional Children's Opportunity Program and the Sure Start Children's Houses. As a volunteer, I supported disadvantaged children in Pécs within the frameworks of the Szín-Tér Association and the Murál Morál Mező Group. This deeply lived practical experience provides the stable foundation with which I support the core philosophy of the Pro Juventa Foundation and Murmo: the unshakeable belief that every child deserves a safe environment to develop and access to professional help, regardless of how complex or challenging their background may be.
