The Minimacska group is a small-group therapeutic programme combining visual art, music and play-therapy elements
for preschool and early primary-school children.

Age group: ages 5–7, preschool and early primary-school children

Focus: Adjustment difficulties, separation anxiety, impulse-control disorders,
aggressive behaviour, selective mutism, rigidity, sensitivity (noise, materials), speech-perception
problems, fine-motor immaturity, family crisis, loss, trauma.

Methodology: Integrated use of visual-art, music and play-therapy elements. Within the
safe, experiential setting of art therapy, we support self-expression, emotional
regulation and the development of social-communication skills.

Format:

  • A therapeutic group running weekly throughout the school year
  • 50-minute thematic sessions with a visual schedule
  • Slow-entry open group – 5 intake opportunities per school year
  • Parent consultation: 8 sessions per cycle
  • Active participation and completion of recommended assessments are required
